The Howker is where our journey into owning a holiday cottage began. We had watched the development of The Bay in Filey with interest for several years and eventually decided to call in to see if any properties were for sale. We were impressed by this property, its layout, and unrestricted sea views, and we decided to take the plunge and buy our first-ever holiday home.

That was 8 years ago, and this holiday home continues to be a popular property with guests due to its location and open-plan design, which is ideal for families and their furry friends!

The detached property has 3 double bedrooms, all of which have an ensuite bathroom. The 2 rooms facing the sea have access to a balcony that stretches across the entire property length, with plenty of outdoor seating.

The ground floor comprises a generous entrance hall and a large open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. There is ample seating for both dining and relaxing, and 3 sets of bifold doors open onto a patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ, with unrestricted sea views and a large, grassed area that is perfect for small children to play on, a game of rounders or walking your furry friend! If you get up early enough, you may see a deer or two grazing in the shrubs that adjoin the grassed areas.
